The first of the three panels features a selection of 20 British bred or trained sport and performance horses and ponies ranging from Donnersong (Dressage) ridden by Carl Hester to Harvey (TREC) ridden by owner/rider Hilary Barnard; Tamarillo (Eventing) ridden by William Fox Pitt to Bilbo Baggins (Prince Philip Cup) ridden by Emma Horton-Barr. All the horses featured are an example of outstanding equines of recent times.
As an equestrian artist, designer and illustrator, working from her Pigsty Studio in Gloucestershire, Nikki Moore has earned an international reputation with her artwork and design. Nikki conceived the idea of the triptych representing 60 horses covering sport and performance, working and breeds and types at Badminton Horse Trials where she painted on the British Horse Society stand, giving her the opportunity to meet people and get their ideas for painting a picture for the Society to be auctioned during Jubilee year in 2007.
Orders will be dealt with on a first come first served basis, so order early to avoid disappointment.
Nikki has started work on the second panel featuring 20 working horses and the third panel depicting some of our greatest British breeds will be completed by September. As with the Sports and Performance Horse panels there will be 60 prints all signed by the artist.
Please note there is a £10 handling fee added for handling and packing your brand new jubilee print.
