But then it all goes wrong, she finds out her husband has been having numerous affairs with younger, slimmer, dimmer women which leads her to discover that this life has never really made her happy, so she up and leaves, buys a wreck of a farmhouse in the unforgiving Exmoor national park which has stables and land, she then rescues an ex racehorse with dreams of riding bareback on the beach.
Unfortunately nothing is ever that simple when it comes to horses and this brutally honest and hilarious book is a fantastic read and a real heart warmer as Liz and her horse finally learn to love and trust again.
